The fee for counseling is $125 per 50 minute session. Payment is due at the end of each session.
One way to lower costs is to seek assistance from your church. We suggest you check with your pastor or leadership team to see if they are able to provide help with your counseling fees.
We believe that financial hardship should not be a barrier to finding rest in Christ. Because we are supported by a Benevolence Fund of generous friends, we are able to offer a sliding fee scale to a limited number of clients who demonstrate financial need. We view this as a stewardship of God’s resources and a commitment to walking alongside you in your trial.
Our standard session fee is $125. To determine your adjusted rate, please locate your annual household income and household size on the chart below:
Annual Household Income Suggested Session Fee

$75,000 – $99,999 $100
$50,000 – $74,999 $75
Under $50,000 $55
I provide individual counseling for adults, teens, couples, and families facing difficulties in life. We are trained to help you with a wide variety of counseling concerns including: anxiety, depression, grief and loss, addiction and recovery, family conflict, identity issues, trauma and abuse, sexual identity, church leadership issues, church trauma, spiritual concerns, parenting issues, divorce, and pre-marital counseling.
We currently offer counseling virtually only at this time.
1129 Counseling is a private-pay practice and we do not accept insurance. We can provide a superbill upon request, but please be aware that as a Biblical Counselor, we do not provide clinical diagnoses. Because of this, many insurance plans may not reimburse for our sessions. We encourage you to call your provider to ask if they cover 'Pastoral' or 'Out-of-Network' counseling.
